Beautiful. I could cry. Just a perfect execution of how to tank by the Giants here. You might have thought there was a chance to win or go to overtime because for whatever reason people were trying. We need everyone to buy in here. Lose every game. Lose every game by 100, I don’t care. This team fucking stinks. This franchise fucking stinks right now. The only hope we have is to tank and hope for the best (LOL, I know).
I don’t know if this is on Gano or the line or Breese just making a freakishly athletic play, but they all should be treated as heroes. I don’t want Graham Gano buying himself a drink the rest of this week and if this gives us the number 1 pick, not again in the city. He’s basically a tier below the Super Bowl winners. And, yeah, I’m aware how dumb it is to cheer for something like this, but I’m a Giants fan. I’ve seen this story for far too long. Win a game you shouldn’t win, end up with pick like 5 or 6 instead of a top-2 pick and miss out on the person you really want. Remember Brian Daboll talking about Daniels and Drake Maye? Yeah, that would have been nice.
I also know none of this matters until we get John Mara out of here, but it’s a step in the right direction. A little too close for comfort, but a step in the right direction. Goddamnit, this franchise pisses me off. We’re so bad that this is all we have to cheer for. Job well done, boys, onto the next loss.
